Davis Manufacturing is based in Atlanta, Georgia. We began as a 1st generation family company and now have grown substantially to include a 2nd generation, as well as a diverse and dedicated staff. It takes quite a team to research, compound, manufacture, bottle and distribute the extensive line of Davis brand products! At heart, however, we're still a family company that takes its business personally.
The Davis brand has a diverse line of more than 200 products, with many FDA registered medicated formulas for various skin conditions that affect animals. We also make a wide variety of pet grooming products, shampoos and conditioners, many of which are available for private label.
These can also be made available with the Davis brand label for distribution opportunities.
Davis Manufacturing exports to a dozen countries and we are always open to export opportunities.

FAQs
We offer a wide variety of private labeling options. Some customers require turnkey service where we source all raw materials and packaging components, but we also have customers who send us everything needed for the job.
Which products can I private label?
You can private label any of the 25b insecticides you see under Build a Product as well as most of the Davis-branded grooming products seen at www.davismfg.com.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimum order quantities for liquids are typically based on batch size. Our mixing tanks hold around 1000 gallons, so 800-1000 gallons would be a minimum batch. This would apply to a Davis formula you are buying from us for private label as well as if we are making your formula from ingredients you ship to us.
Powders and granule batches are based on weight. A small powder batch and production run would be around 1600 pounds.
What are your filling capabilities?
Liquids – one oz. nail polish bottle to a 250 gal. tote
Powders – tube canisters, plastic bottles, buckets
Tubes – toothpaste etc
Wipes– plastic canisters or pouches
Aerosols – environmentally friendly BOV type
What packaging options can I choose from?
Bottle and cap suppliers often have high minimum orders. 20,000 pieces is not an unusual order requirement. We advise private label customers to pick a bottle we use for our own products as seen on our Grooming Products website www.davismfg.com. We refer to these as “stock” bottles. Since we already have them in our warehouse, your order quantities can be much lower.
If you require a unique bottle or container we encourage you to buy these from the manufacturer and ship them to us for your packaging job.
What is the procedure for ordering labels?
Customers order their own labels and ship them to us. We have several good label printers that we can recommend if you don’t already have a vendor.
For smaller production runs you may find digital labels to be more cost effective, since there are no printing plates to pay for.
How do I know if my label is within regulations?
You are responsible for anything written on your labels. That includes any safety or cautionary text required by FDA, EPA or other agency that may regulate your products.
We can recommend an agency to help you with any regulatory requirements as many smaller companies don’t have an in-house compliance department.
Can I have samples made before production?
Maybe you have a product idea that’s not ready for large scale production and you just need samples to
show to potential customers or distribute to your sales force for evaluation and feedback. We can fill small runs of a few hundred samples.
These jobs tend to be more labor intensive and usually cost more per item than a large scale production run, but the advantage is you only produce as many as you need for testing and evaluation purposes.
